Your benefitsHow it works
westBike has both standard bikes and e-bikes ready for you. Use the filter icon in the app to filter for a specific bike type. Please note that e-bikes can only be returned to e-bike stations.
REGISTRATION
Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a €1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.
RENTAL
Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app and the FrameLock will open automatically.
PAUSE RIDE
Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.
RETURN
Return your bike at an official westBike-station in the district of Heinsberg and press the FrameLock lever down to lock the bike. If you return your bike outside of an station, a service fee of at least €20 will be charged.

Our tariffs
You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. The monthly subscription is valid throughout Germany (except for Oldenburg, Bremen, Mainz, Konstanz, Usedom and Nuremberg). You can change the tariff in your app Wallet.
Basic tariff
1 €/15 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is 15 €/24 h.
Monthly subscription
10 €/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 15 €/24 h).
Annual subscription
60 €/year
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at 1 € (max. 15 €/24 h).
Basic tariff e-Bikes
€2,50/15 min
If you have not booked another tariff, you will be charged at the basic rate. The maximum daily charge is €25/24 h.
Monthly subscription all bike types
€15/month
The first 30 minutes of each rental are included. Afterwards, each additional half hour will be charged at €1 (max. €15/24 h) for standard bikes, €2,50 (max. €25/24 h) for ebikes.

90 €/year
