Information about fees at westBike
Dear user,
You have returned the bike improperly away from a westBike station or e-bike station. A fee of €20 per rental is due for this. We do not charge this fee for the first improper return away from a station. If it happens again, the fee will be charged automatically.
You can still avoid the fee:
Go back to the bike and rent it again. Do not do this remotely, as the lock will open automatically. The new rental will be merged with the old one and the improper return fee will be cancelled if you now return the bike properly.
You can view the charges incurred in the rental activity in your app or in your customer account via the website login.
What return options do you have with westBike?
At stations:
You can return our bikes at any official westBike station.
At e-bike stations
E-bikes may only be returned to e-bike stations. Use the filter icon in your app to search for e-bike stations.
Away from stations:
Bikes may not be parked away from official westBike stations. There is no flex zone! A fee of at least €20 will automatically be charged for improper returns.
Incorrect charges? What now?
Due to slight GPS discrepancies, you may be charged a fee for improper return even though you left your bike at a station. No problem. Contact our hotline at 030-69205046 or send us a message via app with your registered mobile phone number, bike number and a brief description of the situation. We will correct the rental.
